5-11 May 2020

May 5, 2020 Max Sahl (CEO) will be a table facilitator at the virtual ICON (International Conference) meetings today and tomorrow. Please pray that all goes smoothly.

May 6, 2020 Wycliffe Australia has about 25 families in transition due to COVID19. Some have travelled out of their countries of service. Others were not able to return to Australia. Pray for each one as they adapt to their current circumstances.

May 7, 2020 Please pray that those Wycliffe Australia members who have chosen to remain in the country where they are serving will be sources of light, strength and peace in this chaotic world.

May 8, 2020 Give thanks with us that Gary Peterson has been granted his visa to remain working in Australia. He and his wife, Robyn (who is Australian), are valued members of the team working at the National Centre at Kangaroo Ground.

May 9, 2020 With international travel restrictions in place, no mission planes have been able to come from Papua New Guinea to Cairns to collect the supplies bought by Martin Snook. So, a courier company is being trialled. Please pray that it would work well in terms of cost and the safe arrival of goods.

May 10, 2020 Gordon Thompson works as a typesetter and is involved with two indigenous language projects at present. Please pray that all will go smoothly as he begins the typesetting of the Anmatjerr Mini Bible soon.

May 11, 2020 Where would we be today without information technology? Thank the Lord that IT advances have made social distancing and quarantine more palatable for us all.

Thanks for your patience...

Waiting is hard, isn't it. But imagine waiting 2000 years for Scripture in your language! Thanks for your patience. And thanks for your generous support which will help bring the long wait to an end...
