Arts & Ethnomusicology
Encouraging natural and culturally appropriate expression of faith and relationship with God, as well as communicating the gospel and gospel truths.
As communities begin to receive portions of Scripture in their own language, local Christians can become more enthusiastic about using their own language and cultural expressions (arts and music) to give glory to God. Members working in Arts and Ethnomusicology encourage such expressions, the use of local art forms (paint, sculpture, dance, drama) as well as local musical instruments and musical styles, and may be involved in facilitating the sharing of such efforts with others in the language community and beyond.
