Construction/ Maintenance
Create and maintain spaces where the work of Bible translation can be facilitated, and where those involved in the work may live.
Constructing, maintaining and repairing buildings (work spaces as well as living spaces). Many buildings are used for drafting, editing, publishing of portions of Bible translations, as well as for training nationals in various roles related to translation work. Roles may include training nationals in a trade such as carpentry, plumbing, electrical work.
There are also opportunities to volunteer for short-term work parties, or to help out with maintenance needs at the Wycliffe National Centre based in Kangaroo Ground, Australia.
