Each member of Wycliffe has a unique set of skills and experiences which equips them for a range of roles around the world. Personnel work is vital in matching the right combination of skills in a member to the right context. Roles in personnel may also involve providing guidance and direction for members, planning strategically for searching and placing people in specific regions as well as specific roles, and ensuring that legal requirements regarding policies, procedures and reporting are fulfilled. Additionally, it may involve ensuring that good member care is in place, and is followed, so that members can continue in their work long term. Personnel provide valuable encouragement and support to members as they enter the field, wherever they may be going, and whatever roles they may end up fulfilling.
