Ross and Lyndal have been members of Wycliffe Australia since 1982, initially working as Bible translation advisors in PNG. After completing a translation they spent 3 years in Australia settling their sons, then went to Vanuatu to serve as directors of the SIL team there for 10+ years. They are now continuing as trainers for ni-Vanuatu Bible translation and Scripture engagement personnel as well as working in Scripture engagement themselves. For half of the year they live on Epi Island in an idyllic setting enabling three different vernacular New Testaments to be completed. The first of those, Lewo, was released in print and audio on March 2nd, 2017. As well as getting the NTs published in every accessible format they can think of, they are working with local Christians to increase the level of Bible comprehension.

Ross and Lyndal have two sons, Christopher and Paul, who have in turn, with their wives Karen and Beth, produced 3 grandchildren each, while working as pastors in different settings in Australia.
