People are our most precious commodity when it comes to ministry and it is an absolute privilege to work with some very outstanding people. Dave Wake, our Deputy CEO, oversees the Personnel Department, National Ministries Department which includes Wycliffe regional representatives, Wycliffe Assist and volunteers.

Communications

The Communications Department of Wycliffe Australia is focused on helping to connect the Australian church with Wycliffe and share about the current issues and information relating to the worldwide Bible translation movement. Key developments in the Communications Department has been our focus on increasing digital and video content, and our website upgrade.

Retreats@Wycliffe

Retreats@Wycliffe supports the work of Bible translation in multiple ways, from providing onsite housing to Wycliffe members, to supporting the upkeep and maintenance of the National Centre from the income generated through its use by groups and individuals. Retreats@Wycliffe also has a broader vision of providing a personal reflective space for individuals or groups.

2017 Wycliffe Gathering

Sharna, a Wycliffe member reflects on the first Wycliffe Australia biennial gathering (conference) she attended in May this year. The Gathering included reports from members in a variety of roles around the world, presentations from other Wycliffe Global Alliance member organisations, discussion topics, devotions, and some wonderful worship music.
