In 2005 Narelle went on a short-term mission trip to the Philippines, where she visited a village that had recently had the New Testament dedicated. Through this trip she saw the great need for Bible translation and felt called to become a part of this work. Since then Narelle has studied theology at the Bible College of Victoria and linguistics at Equip training.
In 2013 Narelle went to Papua New Guinea to become involved in the task of Bible translation. Narelle has a passion for enabling people to read the Bible in their own language so they can come to faith and grow in their understanding of God’s Word. She is excited to be part of making this possible for the Kanja language group in the Morehead area in Western Province. Narelle and others working in neighbouring languages are hoping to cooperate on Bible translation and related activities.
