Robert & Margaret Love
Robert, from Tamworth worked as an accountant before joining Wycliffe in 1990. He served in Papua New Guinea supporting the work of Bible translation in finance, public relations and regional centre management. In 1993 he met Margaret at a church in Port Moresby. Margaret grew up and worked in West Wyalong as a nurse before joining Youth With A Mission and serving in Goulburn NSW, Fiji and PNG. Robert and Margaret were married in March 1996 and have one son, Samuel. After their marriage Margaret served Wycliffe in administration and hospitality roles including MAPANG guest house in Port Moresby, an independent guest-house run by churches and mission agencies for Christian workers in PNG. Robert and Margaret have been working in the NSW Wycliffe regional office since 2004 and are currently based in Tamworth. Their focus is on the surrounding country areas where they advocate for those without the Scriptures and recruit people for the Bible translation task. They are also involved in training programs in NSW and the Pacific. Responding to the timeless truth in God’s Word led Robert and Margaret to become followers of Jesus and into cross-cultural service. Experiencing God’s Word as a daily light that guides, trains, and comforts is a precious growing experience for them. They would love to see more people involved in bringing God’s Word to people of all languages.
